Organized and hosted by Perfect World Esports, the 2024 Shanghai Counter-Strike Major is the top level global Counter-Strike tournament. Between November 30, 2024 to December 15, 2024, a total of 24 world-class teams from Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region will descend upon Shanghai to compete for the honors of being the best CS2 team in the world along with a total prize pool of 1.25 million USD. As the first time a Major has come to Asia and China, all eyes will be on the East as fans around the world anticipate this elite competitive showing.

1. What is needed in order to purchase tickets?
1.1. You must have a valid Vivenu account.
1.2. You must upload a valid passport, and ensure that all information provided is up to date and accurate. This passport must be the same passport as the one matching your own identity (it must be your own passport), and you MUST be able to bring this passport to the venue on the day that you plan to attend the event.
1.3. Expired or otherwise inaccurate passports and forms of identification will NOT be accepted.
1.4. You must ensure that your identity information is accurate and matches your valid passport that you provide in step 2.
1.5. After completing your ticket purchase, you will be prompted to complete a ‘Personalization’ process on the ticket. This includes entering the unique passport and identity details corresponding to each individual ticket. Personalization must be completed accurately within 14 days of your transaction being confirmed in order for you to enter using your tickets.
2. What is ticket ‘Personalization’?
2.1. This is a required process where each individual ticket is tied to an identity, which can be verified on-site in order to grant the ticket holder entry. Without this process being completed, tickets are NOT valid for entry.
2.2. What this means is that if you buy 2 sets of tickets for a single day and wish to bring your friend with you for one of those tickets, you must both complete your own individual personalization, and your friend must independently complete their own personalization, in order for the 2 sets of tickets to work. This must also be done by the deadline, and the deadline for both sets of tickets in this scenario share the same deadline – 14 days within the transaction being confirmed.
3. When does ticket ‘Personalization’ need to be finished?
3.1. This must be completed, accurately, within 14 days of your transaction being confirmed. For clarity, Personalization is required by the venue and local government regulations and there are NO EXCEPTIONS. The sooner you complete this process, the better to ensure entry on-site is smooth for you and your party.
3.2. There will be reminders sent out, but we recommend you to finish this step as soon as possible after ticket purchase, and these reminders are only sent as a courtesy – it is your responsibility to ensure you meet all ticketing and entry requirements.
4. Personalization and ticket purchases
4.1. The timer for Personalization begins right after your ticket purchase is confirmed. You have 14 days from this to confirm personalization for each ticket in your purchase order.
4.2. IMPORTANT: Each ‘personalization’ is tied to one passport identity. Each passport is tied to one ticket. Each ticket is tied to one entry. Therefore, each passport grants entry to one person, per day, per ticket. No more, and no less. You will not be able to bring multiple individuals into the venue using one passport, even if that passport is connected via personalization to multiple tickets.
5. What happens if I do not finish my ‘Personalization’ or cannot confirm an identity to tie to the ticket before the deadline?
5.1. Your ticket will be cancelled and you will be refunded. Unfortunately we must follow this guideline due to local regulations regarding ticket identity verification processes.
5.2. We cannot make exceptions for cases where someone is unable to confirm their companion, renewing passports, or anything similar.
6. How are tickets sold?
6.1. We are selling tickets in two different types of two-day bundles: a Weekday bundle for Thursday-Friday, and another Weekend bundle for Saturday-Sunday.
6.2. There are four different ticket tiers, with the corresponding prices:
- Tier 1 Thurs-Fri bundle: USD 409
- Tier 2 Thurs-Fri bundle: USD 239
- Tier 3 Thurs-Fri bundle: USD 209
- Tier 4 Thurs-Fri bundle: USD 89
- Tier 1 Sat-Sun bundle: USD 469
- Tier 2 Sat-Sun bundle: USD 269
- Tier 3 Sat-Sun bundle: USD 239
- Tier 4 Sat-Sun bundle: USD 119
7. What are the accepted payment methods?
7.1. Most major credit card providers, such as Visa and MasterCard, will be accepted. The payment processor is Stripe.
8. When and where will tickets be available?
8.1. Starting on October 25, 2024 at 14:00 (UTC +8), tickets will be available digitally until sold out.

9. Are tickets refundable or transferrable?
9.1. Refunds are available only on a limited basis within the first 5 days after your valid completed purchase. When a refund is granted, it is minus any transaction and platform fees that may apply.
9.2. You need to contact customer support in order to process a refund. Once a ticket is refunded, there is no possibility to re-claim it. Customer support can be reached on the Vivenu website, as well as through the relevant links in your ticket confirmation.
9.3. Tickets are unfortunately not transferrable at any time for any reason. There are no exceptions.
10. How many tickets can I purchase?
10.1. Each valid account may purchase a maximum of two ticket bundles for each event day. Additionally, each account is limited to one transaction per ticket bundle type.
10.2. Specifically: each valid account is limited to one transaction per ticket bundle, with a maximum of two bundles per transaction.
10.2.1. For example, a valid account may purchase two Weekday bundles, and two Weekend bundles in a single transaction, HOWEVER, once the transaction is completed, that account may not purchase any more tickets.
10.2.2. Another example: a valid account purchases one Weekday bundle, and two Weekend bundles in their first transaction. That account is unable to purchase any further tickets for the event, because the transaction limit has been reached.
10.3. If we detect efforts to circumvent the ticket and purchase limit for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel and refund those tickets at any time, minus any potential fees.
11. When and where is the tournament?
11.1. Shanghai, China, at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center.
11.2. The dates are December 12 - 15.
12. How will I enter the venue?
12.1. After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation to your linked email address. Bring this confirmation, along with your own valid passport that we described in the ‘Personalization’ section FAQ to the venue ticket check location on the day of the event. You will need both in order to gain entry for the day.
12.2. You absolutely must have your own valid passport, in physical form, the one that matches your ticket personalization, in order to enter! Photographs of your passport, other forms of alternative identification, or identification that does not match your exact personalization WILL NOT be accepted.
13. Is there re-entry?
13.1. No, the event is single entry. Once you enter, if you leave, then you cannot enter again for the day.
